The UGTT secretary general Noureddine Tabboubi stated on Wednesday that UGTT refuses the ambiguity of the political process adopted after July 25, the date of the announcement of the exceptional measures decided by the president of the Kaies Saied Republic.
Tabboubi added that the nation is not managing itself with “empty slogans” and the already critical situation in the country has declined further. He emphasised his rejection of the political and electoral system announced by Saied during the presidential election campaign in 2019.
Tabboubi repeated the union’s position supporting the exceptional measures adopted on July 25, “but the UGTT union refuses to give a white card to the President of the Republic.
