Prime Minister Hichem Mechichi, met this Friday, February 5, 2021, with UGTT secretary general Noureddine Taboubi.
The political crisis the nation is going through was at the centre of this meeting, reads a statement from the presidency of the government.
Taboubi, underscored, at the end of this meeting which he termed as “positive”, that it is in crucial moments great men are standing out and that presenting concessions by all parts is a mark of greatness and not a weakness.
On the same occurrence, Taboubi declared the organization of a summary meeting tomorrow Saturday, devoted to the review of the agreements reached after a series of working sessions within the High Negotiating Committee 5 + 5 on all sectoral agreements. Adding that these deals will assist to put a close to social tensions in the civil service and the public sector.
