Cases of Typhoid fever increased to 130 in the governorate of Tataouine, local health director Ibrahim Ghargar told Mosaique FM. Several of the patients are receiving treatment at the regional hospital with no deteriorated cases being reported.
Gharghar urged residents not to consume unobserved water and unhealthy prepared juice. He stressed on washing Vegetablewith bleach as well as other preventive measures for families whose members were afflicted with this disease.
An epidemiological investigation has been opened to determine the causes of the contamination.
