A 29-year man from Tataouine stabbed his mother to death with a cleaver. According to Mosaique FM, he suffered from a psychotic break.

The civil protection units of Tataouine, the National Guard, and the Public Prosecution office moved to the crime scene to inspect the body and move it the Tataouine Regional Hospital. The victim ‘s son surrendered himself.
