The European Union ambassador to Tunisia Patrice Bergamini sincerely congratulated Beji Caid Essebsi on promptly approving a presidential decree convening the electorate for the upcoming legislative and presidential elections.
In an official Tweet ambassador, Bergamini congratulated Essebsi on behalf of the European Union. Hailing this remarkable achievement, Bergamini stated the two counterparts shared many common values with democracy being on the top of them.
Formerly, Essebsi approved a presidential decree for voters to faithfully carry out their electoral duties. Moreover, he pledged to continue working for this presidential term that ends as of December 2019.
