Tunisia has maintained its position among the top three preferred destinations for French travelers, according to the Orchestra Barometer for December 2025. The country recorded an increase in holiday package sales compared with the same period in 2024.
The report, published by L’Écho Touristique in partnership with Orchestra, points to a 12.4% rise in business volume for Tunisia compared with December 2024, allowing it to remain near the top of the rankings.
This performance forms part of a broader trend also benefiting other destinations such as Egypt and Morocco. Within the top 20, Egypt posted one of the strongest increases in business volume for the month (+63.4%). “The new Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo (GEM) is giving the destination fresh momentum,” L’Écho Touristique notes.
Ranked second ahead of Tunisia and behind metropolitan France (-19%), Spain also recorded a decline, albeit to a lesser extent.
