The official debts of the British group Thomas Cook to Tunisian hotels have tentatively reached an accumulated 60 million dinars debts, revealed Minister of Tourism and Handicrafts René Trabelsi, stipulating that these debts ordinarily involve 40 hotels in Tunisia.
Properly speaking on the margins of aى official meeting with a Polish delegation in Djerba, Trabelsi prompted hoteliers to accelerate the process of filing charges and invoices at Thomas Cook’s headquarters in the UK and to delegate lawyers to defend their rights.
He positively asserted that debts remain lower than Turkish hotels (380 billion dollars) and Spanish ones (600 billion dollars).
A huge number of tourists who have visited in Tunisian hotels have made their bookings through different agencies.
