Three fires ravaged Tozeur oasis, the first two fires ignited in one place while the third broke out in Bled Elhadhar. The fries partially damaged 190 palm trees.
Speaking to Mosaique FM, local director of civil protection Salem Youssefi said that flames destroyed 1000 square meters of dry herbs, 150 of the fence and 10 fruit trees.
Fires broke out at midday, an inquiry have been opened into the subject matter.
