The monetary and financial indicators published on Wednesday by the Central Bank of Tunisia (BCT) revealed that, as of December 2, combined tourism revenues and labor income (transfers from Tunisians living abroad) have surpassed 15.5 billion dinars.
Tourism revenues rose by approximately 6.8%, climbing from 7,068.4 million dinars on December 2, 2024, to 7,548.9 million dinars on December 2, 2025. It is worth noting that Tunisia has welcomed over 10 million tourists since the beginning of the current year.
As of December 2, 2025, Tunisians residing abroad have transferred 7,967 million dinars to the country, compared with 7,477.2 million dinars recorded on the same date last year — an increase of 7%.
According to BCT data, the amount allocated for external debt servicing stood at 11,497.5 million dinars.
