Rescue and firefighting teams from the Tozeur Regional Civil Protection Department responded yesterday to extinguish a fire in the ancient oasis in the municipality of Tozeur.
The fire destroyed nearly 100 palm trees and 400 square meters of dry grass, according to a civil protection spokesperson.
