Tunisia- TRANSTU reduces its transport capacity by 50%

Tunis Transport Company “Transtu” announced it will be reducing its fleet capacity by 50% at the beginning of the targeted lockdown on May 4.Besides, the company affirmed that new subscription cards will be implemented at outlets and stations to avoid paying with direct contact.

The new transportation order will be as following:

  • 40 people by regular bus.
  • 65 people double.
  • 120 people per wagon (metros and TGM), or 240 people for a single service.

In an issued statement, they stressed the obligation of wearing masks, the company will further conduct regular sanitation campaigns.
