8 died of the coronavirus and 1,036 have been infected nationwide, with a 10.10% %% positivity rate from August 29 to September 4, announced the Health Ministry in its weekly report.
The death and infection tally since the start of the pandemic stands at 29,238 and 1,144,824 respectively.
The Ministry also reported that 16 more people were admitted to public and private healthcare facilities during this period.
