A military plane packed with one million litres of oxygen from the United States of America arrived at Tunis-Carthage International Airport yesterday. This aid is part of its contribution to support Tunisia’s efforts to fight the pandemic. The National Army will take charge of the distribution of these oxygen cylinders.
The Presidency of the Republic similarly expressed its sincere gratitude to the United States of America for this initiative, which further strengthens bilateral relationships between the two nations. The reception of this equipment was carried out in the attendance of Nadia Akecha, Director of the Presidential Cabinet, Othmen Jerandi, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mustapha Ferjani Director General of Military Health and the American Ambassador to Tunisia, Donald Bloom.
