The Minister of Agriculture, Water Resources and Fisheries, Abdel Moneim Belaati, stated that the indicators are positive concerning the experience of large crops in the desert.
He added, on the sidelines of a conference organized today Monday by the Ministry on Food Security and Climate Change, that the purpose is to gradually cultivate 10,000 hectares in the desert.
The minister clarified that “it is certain that this experience launched in Tunisia will bring added value”, adding: “The global situation is challenging and everyone must work hard”.
