Former health minister and member of the scientific committee Habiba Ben Ramadan said that Tunisia will record thousands of deaths from coronavirus in the upcoming twenty days
Speaking to Mosaique FM, she pointed out that Tunisia today is one of the countries in Africa with the highest number of losses, stating, ” We foresee, according to our statistics, that we will reach 5,000 deaths during the next twenty days if we continue on this approach. ”
She added that the vaccine announcement may lead to an increased risk of “citizens minimising the seriousness of the pandemic, which is reflected in prevention measures and physical distancing,”
