Ph.physicist.Nour-Eddine Raouafi and his team were awarded the NASA Silver Achievement Medal. The medal is bestowed to government and non-government people or teams by NASA centre directors when it is judged to be remarkably important and appropriate to recognize such achievement.
Raouafi worked on the Parker Solar Probe, humanity’s first mission to explore the Sun’s corona and the solar wind within the extreme environment around our star.
