Director General of Economic Studies of the Interprofessional Grouping of Red Meats and Milk Kamel Rjaibi told during a press conference held this Thursday, September 29, 2022 in Tunis, that the overall consumption of milk by Tunisians, is assessed at 55 million litres of milk per year.
He added that the price of milk compared to other countries is extremely low because the world average is 3000 millimoles per litre and that the price of one litre of milk in 2016 should have attained 1.600 millimetres, confirming that in the next few days, the citizen will not find milk, even at the price of 3000 millimes, according to him.
