In an official statement, the Ministry of National Defense announced that after receiving information that sailors had discovered two shells from World War II in Chebba ‘s coasts, a team of mine clearance divers managed to locate and detonate them this Friday afternoon.
The statement said that detonation took place after securing the area near to the location of the two shells.
