Secretary of State Mike Pompeo took his tweeter to felicitate newly elected president Kais Saied on winning the election.
He tweeted ” Congratulations to Tunisia on well-run, secure, and timely presidential and legislative elections. We look forward to continuing our cooperation with Tunisia’s new government”.
He affirmed that the United States looks forward to work with President-elect Kais Saied to continue the long standing partnership between the two countries.
