Regional Secretary-General of the UGTT in Gafsa, Mohamed Seghaïer Miraoui, declared on Monday that the UGTT persuaded the demonstrators in the mining basin to leave the production sites, because of the severe situation in which the company finds itself.
. Miraoui confirmed that it is the UGTT that will take charge of claiming the rights of the protesters.
