Tunisia’s unemployment rate fell to 15.7% in the first quarter of 2025, down from 16.2% in the same period in 2024, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics.
The number of unemployed individuals was estimated at approximately 664,500 in Q1 2025, compared to 669,300 in Q1 2024 — marking a decrease of 4,800 unemployed persons.
