On Friday, November 28, Secretary of State to the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, Mohamed Ben Ayed, met with Bill Bazzi, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Tunisia.
The Tunisian Secretary of State reaffirmed the ministry’s readiness to provide the necessary support to the ambassador so he may carry out his mission under the best possible conditions, in a way that further strengthens bilateral cooperation and broadens its scope.
The meeting was also an opportunity to reiterate Tunisia’s commitment to its partnership with the United States and to call for intensified efforts to elevate this cooperation to a higher level across all sectors.
For his part, the U.S. ambassador highlighted the promising prospects for consolidating the partnership between the two countries in several areas, including the economy, trade and science, and expressed his commitment to helping reinforce the bonds of friendship and the channels of communication between the two peoples.
