Ennahda clutching to remove Elyes Fakhfakh from his position is due to the conflict of interest that was hovering over him,at the beginning the party headed toward an alternative cabinet formation, however,a motion of no confidence was introduced , the motion gathered 105 signatures which made it easier for the PM to step down, Ennahdha movement spokesperson Imed Khemiri told Tunisie Numérique.
He stressed that what matters now is to put the country on a new track with an alternative PM and cabinet , he urged not to repeat the mistake of choosing a PM who is incapable of to assemble and does not have a parliamentary majority.
He further denounced the sacking of Ennahda ministers of what he deemed as an instinctive reaction that does not befit statesmen. Matters should have proceeded within the framework of established courtesy and which governs the country highest interests,he added, stressing that what happened proved that Ennnahda decision to withdraw confidence was the right one.
