Director of the National Observatory for New and Emerging Diseases Nissaf Ben Alaya said that the detection of a local case of COVID-19 doesn’t imply that the virus will spread again.
“We cannot tell for certain that there are currently no cases with the virus in the country.”, she said.
She called on everyone to adhere to wearing a protective mask, respect a social distance and other protective measures because Tunisia has not won in its battle against Coronavirus.
