Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, Secretary-General of “Errahma” party Said Jaziri affirmed that Fakhfekh shouldn’t stay in the government for the best interest of Tunisia.
Jaziri called Fakhfekh “weak”, revealing that the latter has lost in the legislative and presidential elections and that he, too, has previously failed as a finance minister.
Regarding the no-confidence motion in HPR Speaker Rached Ghannouch, the deputy indicated that, given the continuous blocking, it would be preferable to dismiss the parliament office entirety and change the rules of procedure.
Jaziri additionally considered the dismissal of Ennahdha minsters as “childish” act, because the latter had nothing to do with any suspicion of conflict of interest.
Early elections seem to be the only solution for things to improve, said Jaziri.
