In a statement to Tunisie Numérqiue, Democratic Current MP Samia Abbou explained why her party voted against the free Destourian Party (PDL) motion.
According to Abbou, the headline of the motion symbolises the refusal of any foreign interference in Libya but, actually, through this motion the PDL revealed its rejection of Qatar and Turkey interference , in this sense she viewed this motion to be questionable.
Furthermore, she pointed out that the rejection of these two countries, in particular, displays the position of the PDL but not that of the Tunisian parliament, which is why his party resolved not to vote.
