Second deputy Speaker of The House of People’s Representatives “HPR” Tarak Ftiti affirmed that parliament received a Correspondance from Inter-Parliamentary Union condemning MP Seif Eddine Makhlouf’s violence against Abir Moussi, saying that, regrettably, no one can consider Makhlouf a colleague.
Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,Ftiti explained that the violence that was practised against Moussi was in the eyes and ears of all and could not be disputed, indicating that Moussi had lured Makhlouf into violence, but violence could not be justified.
Our speaker stressed that the Inter-Parliamentary Union proposed assistance and the formation of a joint committee to investigate this violence, but the sovereignty of the Tunisian parliament must be preserved.
