Speaking to Tunisie Numérqiue, director of the Institut Pasteur in Tunis, Hechmi Louzir, stated that Tunisia is tracking extremely closely the evolution of research aimed at finding a vaccine against the coronavirus.
The official indicated that the acquisition of these vaccines will be possible thanks to the contribution of the WHO and the World Bank.
He also said that the people most at risk, particularly the elderly, will benefit as a priority from this vaccine, which is still in the experimental phase.
