Confronted with the boycott of parliamentary sessions by opposition MPs, Ennahdha MP Jamila Ksisi told Tunisie Numérique that Ennahdha has no problem with this decision, as long as the MPs concerned shows their discontent in a legal way.
On the other hand, the Islamist movement cannot permit the interruption of sessions and the disruption of parliamentary work, she emphasised, calling on opposition MPs to be “civilized”. In this sense, Ksisi stated that opposition MPs are responsible for the negative image conveyed by the Tunisian parliament because they are “against democracy and against the right to be different”
