Speaking to Tunisie Numérique, MP Faycel Tebbini asserted that more than 123 million dinars have been given by the state to the beneficiaries of the general legislative amnesty, emphasising that this is one of the reasons why state coffers are now empty.
He responded that, despite being a very religious person, he did not understand how religious practices can be viewed as anti-oppression. The MP evoked that, paradoxically, the real activists, those who battled against the French colonizer, received nothing.
Like those who sell drugs without utilising them, there are those who make religion an aim of speculation, he explained, exposing the double talk of some politicians.
