Tunisia’s National Institute of Meteorology reported that today’s weather will be partly cloudy across the country, becoming progressively overcast in the western regions with scattered rainfall. Showers are then expected to spread to other parts of the north and the eastern central areas, with temporary thunderstorms possible.
Winds will blow from the southern sector and are forecast to be strong to locally very strong near the coasts, over highlands, and in the south. Local sand whirlwinds may form overnight. In other regions, winds will be moderate but could occasionally reach gusts exceeding 60 km/h.
Sea conditions will be very rough in the north and in the Gulf of Hammamet, and rough along the rest of the coastline, calling for caution for maritime activities.
Temperatures will range between 14°C and 19°C in the north and the western central regions, and between 20°C and 25°C elsewhere, with highs reaching up to 27°C locally in the south.
