The Ministry of Health received a donation from the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). The aid consists of medical equipment and protective means for the benefit of healthcare professionals, as part of efforts to assist the Ministry of Health’s efforts to battle COVID-19.
A ceremony was held on the occurrence in the presence of Health Minister Faouzi Mehdi and Head of WFP’s Office in Tunisia and Morocco Fatimata Sow.
The two sides stressed the necessity to strengthen cooperation in health protection and safety programmes.
