Tunisia Wins First Place at the “Cleopatra” International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition

    Tunisia secured first place at the second edition of the “Cleopatra” International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Competition, held in Cairo from February 12 to 15, further strengthening its reputation as a leading producer of high-quality olive oil.

    According to a statement issued by the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia in Cairo, the Tunisian entries achieved remarkable results, earning a total of 51 medals, including 46 gold and 5 silver medals. The achievement highlights the excellence and global competitiveness of Tunisian olive oil.

    The competition brought together participants from several Arab and foreign countries and featured an international jury composed of experts from Tunisia, Italy, Spain, Algeria, and Turkey, ensuring high evaluation standards and credibility.

    This distinction is expected to enhance Tunisia’s standing in international markets, reflecting the growing demand for premium olive oil and the continued success of the country’s agricultural sector.
