MP Yassine Ayari welcomed in a post published on his official page, the speech delivered by the President of the Republic Kais Saied.
He communicated his hope that the president’s statements were motivated by his beliefs and convictions and not by external causes, alluding to his visit to France and his telephone conversation with Kamala Harris.
Commenting on the Head of State’s remarks on requests for the waiver of immunity against some MPs, Yassin Ayari stated the issue was outside the president’s jurisdiction. In the same vein, he evoked that the presidential chief of staff, Nadia Akacha, is likewise the subject of legal proceedings.
