Prime minister Youssef Chahed has been unanimously elected as the new party leader for Tahya Tounes. His election has come as a natural outcome since the constitution of the parliamentary bloc of the national coalition. Its worth to mention that the newly founded party has aligned itself behind Yousef Chahed and his policies since day one. Furthermore, Kamel Morjane was elected as chairman of the national council.
Tahya Tounes is a political party that was formed early this year after a lengthy dispute with the ruling coalition party Nidaa Tounes, the incident resulted in the resignation of many of the party leaders.
