Sources from the Zaghouan National Guard District confirmed that two forest guards were detained, as part of the inquiry into the cause of the forest fire which ravaged much of the forest last week in Jebel Oum Laboueb at Fahs.
The two agents are accused of negligence or complicity in the initiation of these flames, the aim of which would be to damage the forest cover, in order to be able to exploit the areas burned in cereal crops.
