Governor of Zaghouan Salah Mtiraoui decided to shut down cafes and mosques in Dharbania, Zaghouan for a period of 14 days from Saturday to break the chains of Coronavirus transmission.
The decision was taken after 20 more COVID-19 cases were recorded in the village.
In a statement to TAP, local health director in Zaghouan Souhail Bali said that 35 new infections cases were detected Saturday, including 20 cases in “Dharbania”, classified hotspot. This takes overall infection cases in the governorate to 4056 cases, since the spread of the pandemic.
A 62-year-old woman also died from coronavirus in Nadhour, bringing overall fatality numbers in the governorate to 155.
