The secretary-general of the “Ettakatol” party, Khalil Zaouia estimated that the recent meeting between Kais Saied and Noureddine Taboubi took place to embellish the image of the presidency of the Republic after the events of January 14, 2022, particularly since Tunisia will soon start negotiations with the International Monetary Fund.
In a statement made to a private radio, Zaouia said that this meeting was not productive and had not resulted in any consensus or concrete measure.
