Speaking to Mosaique FM, Doctor Jalila Ben Khalil, member of the scientific committee for the fight against the coronavirus, confirmed that the reference laboratory registered zero cases of seasonal flu.
Dr Ben Khalil indicated that two portions can interpret this figure. The first is connected to the temperatures which have not decreased during this period of the year and the second consists the respect of barrier gestures and distancing by several of citizens.
“Flu symptoms were reported but the tests were negative, We do not know if it is flu or not.”
In another context, the committee member stated that the coronavirus infection figures are currently stable with a fall in deaths. “This confirms that we are on the right track,” she said.
