Democratic Bloc MP Zouhair Maghzaoui maintained on Friday, December 25, that he firmly doubted that President Kais Saied had any association with the capture of politician and businessman Nabil Karoui.
Reacting to statements by some members of Qalb Tounes party, Maghzaoui stated the Head of State is not circled by corrupt people, evoking that the Elyes Fakhfakh case was under investigation.
He called for evading unfounded allegations against the President of the Republic, arguing in the same way that even after his arrest, Nabil Karoui still possesses the presumption of innocence and the right to a fair trial.
