Speaking to Tunisie NumériqueEchaab secretary-general Zouhair Maghzaoui hailed the powerful presence of women in the new government chaired by Nejla Bouden.
“This is the first step towards equality and a tribute to Tunisian women for all the struggles that have led. Today we have marked the realization of the principle of equality between men and women, ”he added.
Remarking on the priorities of the new government, Maghzaoui called on the new team to take action.
“The ball is in your court,” he said indicating that the administration must fulfil its plans from tomorrow.
He said that like the battle against corruption, the government must pay attention to the problems of transport, unemployment and public health.
Maghzaoui, in the same vein, indicated that the speech delivered by the President of the Republic Kais Saied was clear.
