According to data from the National Observatory of Agriculture (ONAGRI), Tunisia’s date exports over the first seven months of the 2024/2025 season amounted to 107.9 thousand tonnes between the start of the campaign in October 2024 and the end of April 2025. This represents a 6.0% decrease compared to the 114.7 thousand tonnes exported during the same period the previous year.
The “DEGLET ENNOUR” variety alone accounted for 85.4% of the total export volume.
In terms of value, export revenues stood at 687.1 million dinars as of the end of April 2025, down 4.3% from 717.7 million dinars recorded during the same period in the previous campaign.
As of the end of April 2025, organic date exports reached a volume of 5.4 thousand tonnes, generating approximately 48.9 million dinars in revenue.
