Strengthening cooperation between Tunisia and the European Union across several key sectors – including renewable energy, migration, economic development and investment – was the focus of a series of meetings held by the Tunisian Consulate General in Strasbourg with members of the European Parliament representing various political groups.
These discussions took place on the sidelines of the European Parliament’s ordinary session, held in Strasbourg from 24 to 27 November 2025, as part of a diplomatic effort aimed at deepening dialogue with European decision-makers and advancing the Tunisian-European partnership.
According to the information page of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Migration and Tunisians Abroad, these meetings form part of an ongoing strategy to maintain regular contact with European lawmakers and broaden communication channels with EU institutions. The goal is to build a more effective and balanced cooperation based on mutual respect and shared interests.
