Tunisian Exports to Saudi Arabia Surge by 136%

New figures released by the Export Promotion Centre (Cepex), on the occasion of the participation of 20 Tunisian companies in the international food and beverage trade show “Saudi Food Show 2026,” show that trade between the two countries recorded significant growth in 2025. The volume of trade rose from 964 million Tunisian dinars in 2024 to approximately 1.144 billion dinars in 2025, representing an increase of nearly 18.6%.

Saudi Arabia holds strategic importance as a major regional market and a key hub for imports and re-exports, offering growing opportunities for foreign companies, particularly in the food and beverage sector. The Kingdom is an important trading partner for Tunisia in the Arab Gulf region.

Tunisian exports to the Kingdom recorded significant growth, rising from approximately 117 million dinars in 2024 to 276.2 million dinars in 2025, an increase of nearly 136%. This growth reflects expanding opportunities for access to the Saudi market and confirms its promising potential for Tunisian companies, particularly in the agri-food and agricultural products sectors.

These indicators further underscore Saudi Arabia’s importance as a strategic destination for Tunisian exports and as a regional platform enabling domestic companies to expand their customer and partner base, strengthen the presence of their products in Gulf markets, and capitalize on the trade, investment and re-export opportunities offered by the Saudi market.

Tunisia’s participation in this edition brings together 20 companies operating in the agri-food and agricultural products sectors, under a national pavilion covering an area of 216 square metres. The pavilion aims to showcase Tunisian products and promote the country’s export offering among Saudi and international buyers, importers and distributors.
