Tunisia’s Net Foreign Currency Assets Reach 25.4 Billion Dinars, Covering 107 Days of Imports

    Net foreign currency assets stood at 25,425.1 million dinars as of 2 February 2026, representing the equivalent of 107 days of imports.

    Compared with the same period last year, foreign exchange reserves recorded a slight decline of 9 percent, according to monetary and financial indicators released by the Central Bank of Tunisia.

    Meanwhile, external debt servicing fell in 2026 by 13.4 percent, settling at 12,445.4 million dinars, down from 14,371.2 million dinars in the previous year.

    At the same time, currency in circulation, including banknotes and coins, continued its upward trend, rising from 22,875 million dinars on 2 February 2025 to 27,339 million dinars at present.
