The President of the Republic, Kais Saied paid an unexpected visit to a construction company in Fouchena in the governorate of Ben Arous, as part of the battle against monopoly.
During the inspection visit, the head of the state disclosed that he sacked Governor Ben Arous for his complicity with the smugglers.
“I have terminated his functions, pending the assignment of a new governor dedicated to the people and not to the smugglers,” He said.
