Speaking to Tunisie Numérique,MP Mabrouk Korchid called the visits of the President of the Republic Kais Saied to Libya and Egypt as “successful on all levels”.
Mr Korchid pointed out that these visits have contributed to the consolidation of relationships between Tunisia and other nations.
“Tunisia has remained in isolation for 10 years, which has undermined its image and disturbed its relations with Algeria, Libya and Egypt. Now it is time for a new relationship with these countries to be established, ”he stated.
Korchid, furthermore, indicated that the establishment of the Constitutional Court is necessary. Nonetheless, political disputes that have nothing to do with legal debates and bills have arisen.
Ruling out the probability of reaching 131 votes in the voting session, Korchid called for the organization of a political dialogue to obtain solutions to the many prominent issues including that of the Constitutional Court.
