Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in a speech broadcast by the TRT on Sunday stated that Ankara could consider Finland’s NATO ascension.
The Turkish leader advised the country to steer from making moves that have cost Sweden Turkish support. “If necessary, we can send a different message about Finland, if it does not repeat the same mistakes,” he noted, referring to an incident that took place in Stockholm last week when the country’s far-right politician burned a Quran.
