Two car bombs kill 15 in Somalia

Fifteen people were killed and over 50 injured by car bombs in two cities of central Somalia, the Somali Guardian reported on Sunday, citing local officials.

The explosions, which both took place on Saturday, occurred in the Hiran region. One of the bombs was detonated at a security checkpoint outside police headquarters in the city of Jalalaqsi. The other blast, which killed over 11, targeted district headquarters in the town of Buloburde.
