U17 World Cup: Beaten by Austria, Tunisia Knocked Out After Errors by Bouaskar and Dhaoui

    This Saturday afternoon, the Aspire Zone – Pitch 5 in Doha, Qatar, hosted the clash between Tunisia and Austria in the Round of 32 of the U17 World Cup.

    The Austrians, who boast one of the tournament’s strongest defenses with only one goal conceded, secured a 2–0 victory. They will face England in the Round of 16, after the English side defeated South Korea (2–0).

    This is the first-ever meeting between the Europeans—who notably handed a resounding 0–3 defeat to Mali, the reigning bronze medalists—and the Tunisians at a U17 World Cup.
